| Old Time Saddles 3/4 Seat Montana $5,277 Circa 1903 - Montana - Base Price is $4500
This tree style was developed by the Miles City Saddlery Comapny which was owned by Coggshall at the time. It is said to be the first tree to be carved with swells instead of pieced together with individual pieces of wood to make the swells. Coggshall is credited with the idea but he was the business owner, and not a saddlemaker. The swells are low on this tree which make them very accessible to the rider.

| Old Time Saddles 3/4 Seat Montana $6,570 Circa 1903 - Montana - Base Price is $4500
This Custom saddle is a 15 1/2" finished seat. This tree style was developed by the Miles City Saddlery Company which was owned by Coggshall at the time. It is said to be the first tree to be carved with swells instead of pieced together with individual pieces of wood to make the swells. Coggshall is credited with the idea but he was the business owner, and not a saddlemaker. The swells are low on this tree which make them very accessible to the rider. This saddle has brass hardware, is 8 string with hand cut leather conchoes and 2" Long Horn conchoes at each string. Very classy. It has laced wilts, staple pouch and 2 1/2" brass bound bell stirrups. There is a reversed pinking on the front of the seat that looks very nice. The skirts are the large old square with 3" Long Horn custom conchoes on the 4 corners. There is a Long Horn Steer carved on each fender for an added touch.

| Feature Saddles Old Time Cody Saddle $8,325 1893 - Base Price $4500
The original saddle was custom made for Buffalo Bill Cody by Collins and Morrison of Omaha, Nebraska in 1893. The saddle was extensively hand tooled and generously studded with over 65 ounces of solid silver. All of the silver work was custom created specifically for this saddle by L. J. Kass of Albert Edholm Jewelry Establishment. When it was delievered, it was reported to have been the "handsomest saddle they could make." We are pleased to introduce this Old Time Saddle to our collection.
The Custom Silverwork Conchoes, incorporated into our version of the Cody Saddle were created by Clint Orms Silversmith.

| Old Time Saddles Hope $3,982 Circa 1835 - Early Texas - Base price for this Double Rigged Old Time Saddle is $3300
The Hope Saddle was originally created by Adolphus Hope of Washington County, Texas in the early 1830's. With its predominate anglo influence, the saddle became quite popular among the early Texans for its form and functionality.
Hope modified the traditional Mexican large, oversized horn to fit the needs of the Texas cowboy. The feature permitted the cowboy more control while roping the wild longhorn in the thick Texas brush country. In addition, he helped popularize the use of a double cinch to keep the saddle firmly in place. Because once the slack in the rope was removed, as they say, "all hell would break loose" as the longhorn would break for cover.
Hope improved the current trend of the era by adding more leather to the rawhide tree, a relative new invention, as the custom was that of using simple wooden trees covered with leather for padding.
